Wale v. Cudi ??

VS.

REALLY THOUGH?

Recently [September 17 to be exact] I learned that Kid Cudi had supposedly took shots at "old friend" Wale in an interview with Complex Magazine. I found it hard to believe though because from what I thought they were cool friends. Guess I was wrong. Or either he is letting the "industry" get to him psychologically. I mean seriously...this is not even a case about "who's the better rapper" but why would he come his head with such statements? Maybe its just a publicity stunt to give both "talented, but unappreciated" rappers some shine. This is what Cudi said...

“...Then people like Wale get mad that 'Ye ain't give him no beats—'Ye ain't give you no beats because we ain't f***ing with your raps. It's not a conspiracy theory. We don't f*ck with you musically, so we're not going to provide music for you. The s**t is a service, it's a quality of a certain standard. N***as are just so thirsty it's ridiculous. I've been eating humble pie forever, and people still call me an a**hole. These people don't know my f***ing life—now I'm going to give them something to talk about."

then Cudi says...

"It wasn’t a shot, it’s just a simple-ass rhyme by a simple-ass rapper. You can’t let that shit faze you. That’s one of those raps that just shows the world that you wack. Why would you even use that as a metaphor? Everybody think they Hov. Niggas ain’t got the magic like they think they do; there’s only a couple of wizards in this game. I’m a wizard and I know it."

Now take that as you may but as for my stance I'm with Folarin all the way. He has yet to even respond to this nonsense.
